My thoughts after being an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
The IVLP is the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. Through short-term visits to the United States, current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields experience this country firsthand and cultivate lasting relationships with their American counterparts.
Taking part in the IVLP organized by the U.S. Department of State and CRDF Global was a great experience for me. There were only 34 women and men that were chosen for the program from all over the world, key focus is mainly only one basic criteria: people who are going to change the world?
To participate in the program, your accomplishments must speak for themselves, because you cannot nominate yourself. You must be nominated by the local USA consulate/embassy, the foreign service officer supports the nomination, must fight for you during the evaluation process which took around a year.
During this 3 week program the opportunity to meet people all over the world who daily shoot for the moon and touch it, creating a bridge for new projects, cooperation, friendships, support, ideas and speeding up the process on any level. Sharing experiences and lessons learned in an energized and supportive environment speeds the comparable learning versus the hard way, by learning all by ourselves.
The program is enriching, and the diversified guests represent different territories, points of views and opinions with accompaniment with friendly organizers who created the unique culture of helping hands at every level give chances for minority groups to boost their careers. When getting nothing but support and friendliness, I believe that each of us will give back this energy multiplied to our friends, coworkers, projects, companies, communities, and societies. And in such an environment, yesterday’s emerging problems will be solved sooner.
As my heart stands with the improving healthcare system globally. I am building the AI Safety Holdings, with the purpose of transforming and addressing the healthcare issues of today. With emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and cyber security mixed in the best possible form, with health tech – we can achieve amazing improvements in the healthcare system. There are not enough healthcare professionals globally and unfortunately, they aren’t using technology and the data efficiently.
I experienced myself that one of my closest friends and the person that inspired me to live to the fullest, were the one that left this planet too quickly losing her battle with cancer. And because of the death of my beloved grandma, I stand up for what is the most important to me. That is why I am building the investment company that is going to address the critical needs of the global healthcare market where AI and cyber security can be transformative for both healthcare professionals and patients. I surrounded myself with the best AI players, extraordinary business leaders that have tremendous years of experience and commitment to the purpose of building a better future for millions if not billions of lives. We care about it and know that we can have an impact!
I hope that I inspire you to stand for something that is the closest to your heart as well.
