Why am I building the AI Safety Holdings?
My story for building the AI Safety Holdings is related to my own personal experience.
A couple years ago my grandma lost her battle with the cancer. She was the one that taught me how to play to win and risk as much as I could. She was the coolest and the best role model that I have ever had. The pain of saying goodbye to my loved one, that I know in my heart, could have lived much longer if the healthcare system would have been better. Back then I promised myself that one day, I will change it, I will make it better. The idea of protecting human lives was born. I witnessed with my own eyes how not having enough healthcare professionals, limitation of technology and using data in the most efficient way cost lives.
I also noticed that the market has a lot of divided propositions, but with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence we could do much, much better. My idea is to create something more holistic. On the top of that I was also paying the attention to cyber security, knowing that with the healthcare digitalization, the number of cybercrimes will increase.
Around two months before the pandemic came, I started to make my dream come true. The ability of creating engagement teams, was with me forever, so I started to recruit my team members. Key profiles for each member was to bring people that are not going to melt under pressure and that have been there. I have surrounded myself with people that has tremendous amount of success and experience, heavy hitters that are living and breathing the idea of building the investment company that can change the world and make it a better place. We care about it and know that we can make impact on the global scale.
What I am excited the most about is how technology and creativity could make a huge difference. The level of excitement is getting bigger and bigger every day with the cause we have. And the potential of solutions that we can bring integrating AI never stops amazing me.
Thank you,
Ewelina
