We live in amazing times.
It is pretty incredible to reflect upon all of the historical technological developments in healthcare to date – diagnostic techniques, pharmaceuticals, surgical procedures and equipment, medical devices, gene therapies, etc. As a result, people are enjoying longer, healthier and arguably happier lives. It is equally awesome to consider that even with all of the medical advances to date, there is no shortage of opportunities to continue to develop material improvements in patient outcomes and experiences.
